Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I purchase flowers?

I offer bouquet subscriptions and special orders during my growing season. See the Flowers tab for details.

  • Do you host floral workshops?

I do not have any workshops planned at this time, but I hope to hold them in the future.

  • Do you do flowers for weddings?

I do not design flowers for weddings/events, or sell DIY bulk bloom buckets at this time. Check out the other amazing local farmer/florists for your wedding flower needs!

  • Can I visit the farm?

Unfortunately, I am not able to have visitors at the farm. The farm is located on leased land, shared with several other tenants who live on the property. To respect everyone’s privacy, I do not host events or tours on the farm.

  • Do you grow organically?

Yes, I grow my flowers using organic and regenerative practices. I never use pesticides or herbicides, even organic ones. The health of the beneficial insects, songbirds, myself and my customers is very important to me.

I am not a USDA certified organic farm, though. I do purchase some seeds that are not organic. Additionally, I use post harvest floral holding solutions and flower food, none of which are certified organic.

  • Why local flowers?

Local flowers are a passion of mine because we farmers are able to provide gorgeous seasonal blooms that are not often available otherwise. Some of the most beautiful flowers do not ship well, so are not sold at grocery stores or by traditional florists. And, by buying local you know that the blooms have a much lower carbon footprint.
